I have an Acer Aspire one netbook with windows 7 home starter. It is generally very reliable but tends to be slow. It has an intel Atom N450 processor and 1GB RAM. I regularly use programs such as c cleaner and anti virus checks but still slow. also I run minimum programs at startup. Will a memory upgrade be worthwhile?

About how old is it? (considering not to old because it has windows 7). No adding memory will not speed it up, but maybe deleting some stuff from it will. 1GB RAM is what I would upgrade..if anything.
more likely either internet congestion or a shared wifi connection dividing the bandwidth, any computer is way faster than most adsl connections
