There are numerous of good absolutely free anti-virus intended for pcs. Having Said That I ordinarily opt for AVG or Avast. Both of these seem to function well by themselves. I really do, even so, make use of a number of different packages, which include BitDefender and Microsoft’s own anti-virus software program. I’ve found that various applications identify different infections. The main problem is that a lot numerous products may slow your pc down. Having Said That I use Three various, 1 to get viruses, 1 for trojan viruses and one for spyware and adware and I also haven’t had a infection for several months.

There is not one antivirus or antimalware that will detect all infections. A combination of Avast and Malwarebytes works best. They are two of the few antivirus/malware apps that can be on the system at the same time without causing serious file corruption. Both work quietly in the background without excessive use of system resources. Although many allow both to run at the same time I prefer to use Avast as the primary antivirus. Then, close Avast and run Malwarebytes once or twice a week.

I think the BitDefender Total Security 2012 is your best choice.
It keeps your Internet-connected family safe, without slowing down their PCs. It locks out viruses, hackers & spam, while providing parental control and firewall protection.
