What Is Happening To My Internet?

By AntiVirus Posted in: Avast

My comPuter is totally effing up. The wireless keeps stopping randomly and when I hit Ctrl alt del and went to processes I saw about 100 processes called “302.exe” or another random 3 digit exe. The first thing I did was ipconfig release and scan with avast. It found 28 viruses in system restore information volume. What is this virus and is it gone? My Internet is stil being dumb. Halp me plox

Sound’s like you’re infected with some pretty nasty malware. Download and Install Malwarebytes, make sure you update the database before you scan and run a quick scan and delete all infections.
Also download Kaspersky’s TDSS Killer and search and cure any rootkits found. It also looks like your system restore folder is infected, I would flush old restore points and create a new one once the computer is cleaned.

You should run rkill, then MBAM, then superantispyware, then update, and run a full scan with your AV.
Rkill, small executable, no need to install, read the description:http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download…
MBAM, After rkill has run successfully, install, and run a full scan with it:http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4716-m…
Then install, and run a full scan with superantispyware, also free:http://www.superantispyware.com/
Update, and run a full scan with your AV.

Probably not gone. You can run things like TDSSKiller from Kaspersky and Malwarebytes as well. But frankly, if you were that infected, you probably need a repair installation of your operating system and/or I’d get off all critical files and reinstall everything from scratch.
