I have Trend Micro Internet Security, and it’s telling me that I have two DLL files infected by trojans:
Both are in the SysWow64 folder (I have Vista). They are ilbkitpq.dll (which Trend Micro says is infected by “TROJ_GEN.R21C2…” and hragccgn.dll (infected by TROJ_GEN.USC5H13). Trend Micro seems to not be able to do anything to fix this.
It says to either quarantine (which it is unable to do) or delete the files. Are these files important, or will deleting them cause something bad to happen? Is there a way to get rid of the Trojans?

Use Malwarebytes, you can download it for free.. look on google.ca and download the free version.

before you install Malwarebytes tho, Uninstall Trend Micro whatever the **** it is.. Malwarebytes is the best virus scanner ive used.. install, scan, quarantine/remove the threat whatever you want. Then, Turn on your firewall.. I use Iptables for Linux, but your using windows so it wont work. Install Avira Antivirus Personal Edition, and spybot search and destroy.. when your done installing both.. make sure to update all three and do a full scan with them too.. Remove/quarantine the threat.. Then reboot and do one more scan with all of them!
It could be a Virus, or a false positive, Look the file up on google.com and see if it is a virus. If Trend detected it wrong, then Malwarebytes and spybot and Antivir will detect what is it and remove it and repair your system.
Make sure to use a firewall.. Thank you!
P.S. MALWAREBYTES and SPYBOT are not Antivirus Software, they are very good virus Scanners. Avira Antivir is Antivirus Software!
WARNING!
DO NOT HAVE 2 ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS ON A COMPUTER!! MAKE SURE YOU UNINSTALL TREND MICRO ****! LOL
Try running Trend Micro — or any other anti-malware program — in Safe Mode With Networking. That sometimes keeps malware from protecting itself.
To get into Safe Mode with Networking:
1.Log out and reboot your machine.
2.When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3.Select Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.
4.Login. If the malware has changed your password, try logging in as Administrator. By default, Administrator has no password.
5.The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.
6.When you’re finished doing what you need to do, log out and reboot back into normal mode.
Good luck.
quarantine it first then … if it causes any problems go back to the antivirus and restore the file…
not sure if its a virus but it looks like it by the name
