Not For Supply In Uk…?

By AntiVirus Posted in: RISING

Yesterday I purchased Dead Rising 2 (a video game) from CoolShop.co.uk. Upon receiving the item I found the words ‘Not for supply in the UK’ printed on the back. I livein the UK. What should I do now? Can I get a refund. Can I sue them? Can I even still play the game? Thanks.

You can get a refund because you either have a verison which is different to the UK issued version; or will not paly on UK consoles/TV’s.
If they decline you can then sue them or better still, contact the distributor who’ll pull all supplies from them

It depends whether you still want to keep the game. CoolShop appear to have offices in Sweden and Denmark so it may be a European copy not licensed for sale in the UK. Since the ’sale’ may have taken place in a European country outside of the UK, I believe it is technically legal to import the game into the UK and use it here. In other words, you would be entitled to a refund, but they’d want the game back – unopened.

Get back in touch with them and ask for a refund if not sucessful if paid by credit card then inform them for refund check website for all small print first. Good Luck
