I have an acer aspire 5350-2828 notebook. One of its system files got corrupted, making me frequently see the so called “blue screen of death”. I tried to fix it, but I failed at doing that. So I had to reboot my computer with Windows 7 Ultimate(it used to have Windows Starter). I was quite happy until I noticed I had no wireless connection(or internet connection at all, even with it directly connected). I went to the manufacturer’s site on another computer an downloaded all the drives possible and put them in a pendrive. After downloading all the drives on my acer, I was able to connect to the internet with a cable directly connected to it. I downloaded AVG anti-virus and updated all of the 103 important windows updates I had to download.
After that, I started using my computer and searched for a wireless drive(I have no idea where to find it). My touch pad used to scroll down when I used my two fingers, now it won’t do that either(I’d love to fix that as well.) And I can’t find what the problem is with my wireless. I tried turning it on with the fn hot key, but it won’t. The light that indicates if it is on, is off and my acer doesn’t detect any wireless connection(even though my other computer is already connected and working fine).
I tried turning off everything and then turning it back on, but that didn’t work either. What can I do to fix this? Please help!!

your wireless is either
atheros
broadcom
intel
you might also have 4g with intel WiMax
its better if you know which it is
anyway you can find ALL of your system drivers for Everything below
i suggest you download everything for future , dont install it all if
you havnt a problem, but the
CHIPSET drivers are important for properly detetcting other things
like LAN,Touchpad and wireless, sound etc
i may add more for you later
dont forget to download the APPLICATIONS too (they are on different TAB)
there is a wireless one!
Reset your wireless settings.
man that is happening to me when i first got my dumb laptop from sweepstakes clearing house it would not contnect to me either and it took me 2 days to figure out what was wrong with my taptop so if u could answer answer mine I will answer your yours ok see this is what i did i went to Internt connect and look for A box that should have your Internet now if it doesn’t then that’s your problem so put your Inernet name and that should help you out good luke i hope it gets fixed
Open Device Manager (type it in start)
Click the + in front of Network Adapters
See what your LAN and WLAN adapters are so you can copy the model name/numbers and get the drivers at Acer.
Also check the section that says “Other Devices”, it may be there with a yellow question mark or exclamation.

If your acer connects by ethernet cable, then you can do this:
Open Device Manager
Click the + in front of Network Adapters
Double click on the one that says WLAN 802.11x in its name
Driver Tab
Update
Let Windows search for it
