I have a virus that keeps directing my search results to other pages, and my computer is really slow, it also seems to be randomly shutting off my firewall and virus protection. Occasionally i’m getting the message “Generic Host Processes for Win32 Services needs to close. “I’ve run Malwarebytes, Microsoft Essentials, Spybot, and Hijack this, all in normal and safe mode, and none of then are showing anything, but I know I’ve got one. I turned of add-ons and tried to search, but it’s still redirecting me, esp. if I search with keywords like ‘virus, trojan, etc.’ Can anyone help me? I’ve been trying to fix this for two days now.

Usually popular antivirus and antispyware programs misses this infection. Try the above mentioned programs, helped me before numerous times.
It could be spyware. Quite a few antivirus programs don’t care about spyware so it ignores them. Try a program specfifc for spyware/malware like “spybot search and destroy” or Lavasoft’s “ad-aware” I run them both when I have a problem. Both are free, or have a free version you can use.
Sound like you have some form of a rootkit running, try the following
Download and install Avast (the free home version would do) http://www.avast.com
Install
Update
Once done, open the Avast control Panel
On teh left , click SCAN, then tick Boot-Time scan, schedule a a scan, restart
Anything found, choose option 2
It may not totally fix it, but should give you enough space to do more effective cleaning on it afterward.
