A system restore to an earlier date when Win 7 was working?
This may fix it, then again it might not – if there’s an underlying issue!!
It’s certainly worth a try, and will do little harm in any event, and can even be rolled back
Do you receive ANY error messages at all?
Do you mean switching pages in your browser?
What browser are you using, IE9?
    Any new programs installed recently?
Will decide your ‘likely’ best option, when you’ve edited your question,
with more details and background info!!

You say pages so are you talking about the tabs in Internet explorer? If so then it could be that you have been on the internet for a few hours watching youtubes and movies and other draining stuff like online games or something and that your video ram is choked. Best to close the browser and do a restart. If that doesn’t fix the problem then check your hard drive capacity and whether you have at least 20 % free space on tha main partitiion (C drive)

I’ve never heard it described as “The worst thing”, who doesn’t like a nice clean OS? other than the feds of course.
Get a 500G to 1TB drive (they’re 100$-200$), backup your data, and then format and reinstall Windows. After a while an OS can become bogged down with all kinds of stupid ****. So invest in having at least two hard drives (one for data, and one for an operating system), then it wont be a pain next time you need to reinstall your OS.

You can of course go back to an earlier time, but know that your files created since that date will not be there anymore, so make sure to back them up. If that fixes your problem, keep up with updates from Windows and make sure to run daily virus scans.
