I have a stomach virus and I’m soooo hungry and sooo thirsty like you would not believe. I want to just pour a whole glass of ice water down my throat but every time I try to drink some water I end up throwing it up (Sometimes more then I drank in the first place) and my stomach feels so empty and I just want to get something in there and drink WATER! Is there any way that I can drink water with out throwing it up (And food)? or will I just have to wait it out for a few more hours when this stomach flu goes away?

Try table spoons of cold gatorade…it has good potassium in it, and u can also try gingerale too its perfect for your tummy….hope u feel better hunni
SIP on a room temperature glass of water. Gulping down cold water isn’t good for you, whether you’re sick or not. If it progresses, go to the ER.
Lightly sip a sports drink with electrolytes (i.e. Gatorade), and nibble lightly on saltines/crackers.
try to sleep bro thats what ive done , i know its not easy but its the best course of action good luck
If it is really bad, go to the hospital. When your body has a virus that it is flushing out either through vomiting or diarrhea, the water in your system is getting used to expel the virus; dehydration then ensues.
What they’ll do at the hospital more than likely is give you an IV drip to rehydrate you, maybe ask a few questions about your last meals, and perhaps prescribe some meds if needed. However, these sorts things are usually taken care of by our own immune systems. The real danger here is dehydration.
Maybe try a little bit of pepto bismol to get rid of the nausea feeling (if any), eat a banana (they’re easy on the stomach) and if you’re gonna try and drink anything SIP on it slowly since your stomach can’t handle too much at the moment.
Hope you feel better!
