I didn’t have an antivirus protector for my computer (Just the free Malwarebytes). I got infected with the Win 7 security virus. I tried going into Safe Mode many times and have used Spybot, Avira Antivir Personal, and SUPERAntiSpyware. I then resorted into buying Norton 360 and have successfully downloaded it onto my computer and have run scans with it to try to get rid of the virus. Unfortunately, it still looks like I have the virus and I am now at a loss as to what to do. I’m trying to download the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool Wizard, but every time I try and download it, a blue screen pops up saying something about crashing. Also, Norton pops up saying “Action Required–Norton 360 has detected threats that require your attention” and it has two risks that say “Remove Failed” next to each one. I press “Apply All” to the recommended action to take and it’ll say “Working” and then it stops and won’t remove the risks.

You CAN get rid of it, follow this guide exactly as written. Scroll down to the automated removal guide, has instructions if you can’t get online. Read steps 2, and 3 fully.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-re…
Use Stopzilla to remove it, and you have discovered you have wasted your money on norton, crap.
