   what r you using to protect yourself — spyware comes from not using a better firewall than what you have ; it comes from your habits in computing . if you download from torrents or use bearrshare ( or any file sharing app – you will get infected )

   You could, but if you downloaded that much spyware, I doubt you have the know-how to do that.
   Often times the attacker will be behind a VPN or Proxy either way, so you’ll just get some address in Russia or Siberia.
