I have used Vipre for a few months now, and it seems to be the best AV I have tried. It blocks almost all malicious webpages, files and incoming/outgoing connections and doesn’t make too much difference to my pc’s responsiveness. Is this experience shared by anyone, or is Vipre rubbish in your opinion?

Vipre is still pretty new so its still in the testing stages. Some of the things it blocks maybe safe.
The best AV there is and has been for many many years is Trend, followed by Kaspersky.
Norton, McAfee, MSE, Avira and Avast are all poor. Norton and McAfee dont find any viruses, they tell you that you have viruses when you dont.
If your happy with Vipre though then keep with it. Id also reccomend downloading Superantispyware and use it to scan your system once a week, its very good at finding tracking cookies, and is a good test to see if Vipre misses anythinghttp://www.superantispyware.com/download…
I’ve never used it personally, but it gets good reviews from two trustworthy sources that I found right away, so if you’re happy with it, there’s no reason to talk you out of it

its not bad, but isn’t really special. Norton is getting better and better these days, while the other ones (McAfee, BitDefender, Kaspersky) are all just average
