I have a advent laptop and I’ve had it for a year, i have bullguard antivirus, anyway I was on the Internet on social networking sites and shopping websites, Ive only ever been on trusted websites, for some reason it closed both my tabs , I thought nothing of it and went back on the web, then a few minutes later it came off again, this time there were loads of small windows saying hard disk drive has an error or something, then it came up with a download named google update, I pressed cancel and the pc turned off, I then turned it on and it won’t boot it just comes with a blank screen, i’ve tried pressing f8 and going into safe mode but it won’t come up, when I press f8, does anyone know how to fix this?

You have to send it to a computer repair shop. I had HP, Toshiba and wasted a lot of money to get it fix, so I bought a used macbook pro for $750 on craigslist.com. Mine works prefect, no dents or any scratches. It looks perfect even though it’s used. On Mac you will NEVER EVER get virus! It’s highly recommended.
I am very satisfied with MAC and it’s really fast compared to Windows Vista. It’s pricey though BUT worth it!! 
It is not a virus.
A virus will not prevent you from turing on the PC.
You have a hardware problem with either the HD or the Power supply.
Try removing the battery and leaving it out and just run on the AC power cord.
The Boot sector on the HD may be damaged. You need Professional PC help.
Charge it and turn it on and hit every button on the keyboard… You cant really do anything since it can’t get to the boot screen… Get a refund i think
Sounds like a hardware problem, which means you need to like hit up a Best Buy, they’ll diagnose and fix.
