Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out. I am using Bitdefender 2009 but don’t know how to let a programme through. I have unistalled Chrome and reinstalled it but am still getting the same message. Help?

The standard Windows firewall actually suffices for that as well. Kaspersky and BitDefender are both excellent programs that have excellent firewalls…one isn’t necessarily better than the other in my opinion. I have always preferred Kaspersky, but that’s just me.

no antivirus system can defense Ur system 100 percent unless you do BACKUP your current operating system and programs ..

I am running BitDefender at the moment.
Windows Defender is disabled.
Whenever I end the process it comes back in a matter of seconds.
How do I end this process for good?

I have both Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 and Superantispyware Free (therefore no real-time protection) on the same PC.
Is it possible though that they are conflicting at all? I know Superantispyware is not an anti-virus but as it is a powerful tool i didn’t know whether it had the capabilities of screwing it up.
