Earlier, my laptop was slow so I considered downloading AVG from avg.com
I’ve had no problems I just though maybe there’s a glitch somewhere. I already have Avira AntiVirus for 8 months and have had no problem with it.
After downloading AVG, it alerted that I have multiple viruses in my laptop and one was from c:\ProgramData\Avira\AntiVir [...]

Is it necessary for my computer to be safe against viruses?? I don’t feel like downloading it but I can’t be sure :/
Do I need to upgrade my avira to the 2012 version? Please help?

1.Every one saying that Windows 7 has more security than XP but my question is where is that security?
2.What kind of security Windows7 has that XP dont?
I am using Avira AntiVir Personal & I update it every day & I think I have optimal security.
