Control panel —> remove it. Then go and redownload it. Or after uninstall use http://www.avira.com/en/support-download… to remove the registry then reinstall.

I think its size is more than 2 GB !!!!!
I installed Avira Antivir and i scanned my system with it. It told me that there is some hidden item in my computer which may be either useless or has virus in it. So use Avira Antivir Rescue CD.
